The club saw some significant changes in its organizational structure. On January 26, 2024, Dr. Thomson Frank Mpinganjira, the club president, appointed new directors for the club's board. This step aimed to strengthen the club's leadership as it prepared for the season. In early 2024, the club made headlines by dissolving its supporters' board and regional committees to streamline operations.
Team Signings and Player Development:
In January 2024, the Wanderers made a key signing by adding 23-year-old midfielder Blessings “Nyekez” Singini from Ekwendeni Hammers, securing him on a three-year deal. The club also announced plans to promote some players from its reserve team to the first team, highlighting their commitment to developing young talent.
Performance in Competitions:
In the FDH Bank Cup, Mighty Wanderers advanced to the round of 16 after a solid performance in the first stage of the competition, with notable goals from Gaddie Chirwa and Francisco Madinga. They also participated in the TNM Super League, competing against teams like Moyale Barracks, and aimed to improve on their previous performances.
