Silver Strikers Crowned 2024 Super League Champions
December 3, 2024
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Kalisto Pasuwa has extended his congratulations to Silver Strikers and their head coach
Peter Mponda for clinching the 2024 Super League title. Speaking to journalists earlier today ahead of the match against
Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium, Pasuwa commended their achievement, acknowledging his team’s inability to defend the title
this season.
"First, let me congratulate Silver Strikers for winning the championship," Pasuwa said, admitting the challenges his
team faced in retaining the trophy.
Despite FCB Nyasa Big Bullets currently sitting third on the league table, Pasuwa reaffirmed his team’s commitment to giving
their best in the remaining games, emphasizing the importance of winning rather than merely completing the fixtures.
“Supporters pay money to watch these games, so we will play to win,” he assured.
Additionally, Pasuwa confirmed that striker Hassan Kajoke has resumed training following his suspension. However, he expressed
doubts about Kajoke's readiness to feature in any matches this season due to fitness concerns.
“He is training with us, but his fitness levels are still low. We need to be patient with him. If I am not mistaken, he may not
play at all this year,” Pasuwa remarked.

not disclosed further details, this marks the end of a five-year journey for Sambani, who joined the Bullets in January 2019 from
Namiwawa Madrid.
The club wishes Sambani the best in his future endeavours and says they will make no further comments regarding the decision
Before making his mark at the Bullets, Sambani spent two seasons on loan at Mighty Mukuru Wanderers. His departure leaves
